Dj BOB SINCLAR
BOB SINCLAR
Bob Sinclar is a figment of the imagination of “Chris The French Kiss” the 31 year old Paris DJ behind club hits like “Gymtonic”, “The Ghetto” and the recent smash “I Feel For You”. “Bob is an alter ego for me” he says. “It was important for me to have fun and relive that disco era. So I wanted to invent a character who was like a porn star or a disco hero or a spy – a James Bond parody, but cool, like the Fonz”. "I was into music from the first time I saw a DJ play two records together at Le Palace. It was the happiest time of my life : hearing Todd Terry “Can You Party” and Eric B and Rakim, “I Know You Got Soul”, So I got into hip hop". In 1994 Chris started the influential Yellow Productions, with his friend DJ Yellow. Signing artists like Dimitri From Paris, they were the first French label to branch out into the funky disco groove that we came to recognize as the mid 90s French sound. By 1998 he was moving away from acid jazz with his own Bob Sinclar project and released his debut LP on Yellow, causing dancefloor hysteria with the Jane Fonda – sampling “Gymtonic” and the deep soulful groove of “The Ghetto”.
Now, two years later with “Champs ElysÈes” he’ moved on to a more sophisticated sound that’ aiming for more than just dancefloor popularity. “The first album was just a set of tracks”, he admits now. “I hurried to get it out. It was not thought out as an album. This album I did over one whole year from A-Z”. And it shows.
Dj ADAM K
Dj ADAM K
For Toronto, Canada’s Adam K, it’s tremendous amounts of skill, creativity, hard work, and years of perfecting his craft that have catapulted him into the upper echelon of dance music.
Fueling his stellar live sets is over 15 years of experience in mastering sound design, audio engineering and producing. His keen ear for shaping sounds and knack for composing emotional hooks fuse together to create his trademark style. Adam’s solo and collaborative projects have dominated the underground including landmark tracks such as “I Can Feel”, “You’re Not Alone”, “Question”, and “From The Speaker” which melded the minds of Adam, long-time friend Soha, and Toolroom frontman Mark Knight. Of course it was another collaboration with Soha that captivated the world with “Twilight”. Named an Essential New Tune on the legendary BBC Radio 1, Pete Tong set the tone for one of the biggest records of 2008, which was confirmed by landing at #2 for the best-selling tracks overall on Beatport that year. Adam’s music is a favourite of the world’s top DJs seeing releases such as “Complicated” be a staple in sets from the likes of Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, Matt Darey, Rank1, Judge Jules, Cosmic Gate, Menno de Jong, and more.
Not just an original composition mastermind in the studio, it’s Adam’s mind for remixing, along with partner Soha, that has catapulted him into superstardom as the duo’s remixes are some of the most pinnacle dance records of the past few years. Kaskade’s “4AM”, Benny Benassi’s “Come Fly Away”, Deep Swing’s “In The Music”, Heikki L & Ercola’s “Deep At Night” and most notably the Adam K & Soha Remix of Reflekt’s #1 UK Dance Chart tune “Need To Feel Loved” raised the duo to astronomical heights. Adam has reworked singles from dance icons Tiesto and Deadmau5, to mainstream chart-toppers Keri Hilson, Shiny Toy Guns, and Robyn, to one of the most legendary bands of all time in U2. It is his vision, passion, and technique that keep them in high-demand from international hit-makers and underground sensations alike.
Traveling around the globe, Adam’s mastery in the studio translates directly into the art of DJing and he has rocked single-show crowds upwards of 10,000 for legendary promoters and venues such as Ministry of Sound, Godskitchen, Global Gathering, The Guvernment, and Privilege Ibiza. From festivals across Europe, North and South America, Adam’s definitive sound blows up dance floors and pushes the hands to the rafters. Though primarily known for his melodic blend of progressive house, Adam’s style is much more diverse, and showcases his love for all things house, tech to electro, deep to banging. It’s this affection for many genres and his ability to manipulate a crowd into a frenzy that cements his status as one of the world’s most memorable performers.
Not just a producer and DJ, Adam is also the founder and head of Hotbox Digital. The label has been a vehicle for Adam to break into the industry and has released a multitude of incredible tracks from some amazing talent including Soha, Addy, Dataworx, Macca, and JELO. With a renewed focus on Hotbox, Adam will be expanding the label’s international reach both with fresh new original material and new signings from upcoming and established talent, including the massively anticipated Adam K & Soha track “Far Away” featuring the unforgettable vocals of Jeremy Carr, due out later this year.
With collectively over 4 million plays on You Tube and support from the world’s DJ elite, Adam has seen his music effect the lives of music lovers around the world. With the rise of Hotbox Digital and a full slate of touring, solo projects, collaborations, and remixes on the horizon, 2011 is the year of Adam K.

DJ SENZE
Sebastian Kasper a.k.a. DJ Senze is one of the few Berlin DJs who has always seriously aimed to show what House and Techno are really about. He certainly knows how to work a crowd. For more than ten years now he has enhanced Berlin's dance scene with House tunes as well as classic Techno. DJ Senze has played all well reputed local clubs such as E-Werk, Globus, Café Moskau and was a resident at Berlin's Techno pioneer club Tresor until the club has shut its legendary doors earlier this year.
Influenced by early day heroes such as Larry Heard, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Derrick May or the likes of Kevin Saunderson, DJ Senze was drawn to electronic music and his love of this has made him one of the brightest talents around. He has a unique ability to combine that original feeling of House and Techno music with up and coming new varieties of the latter.
In the last couple of years he also put a focus on his own production work and has released tracks for various labels such as the Austrian House label Grow! as well as for UK based labels like Peng and Rewired. Furthermore, he has done numerous remixes and one of his tracks ("Cloudburst" on Grow! Records) was used on Sony Music Japan's DJF 1100 Mix Compilation "The Total Experience".
DJ Senze has shown his talent both in Germany as well as abroad. His DJing has taken him to well reputed clubs in Spain like La Real, Family, Loft etc. as well as to venues like London's Turnmills club or Vienna's Flex.
If you want to bring first class underground with a taste of old school into your club - DJ Senze might be the one!

iPad app for DJs: mixr
I think that most would agree that it’s the apps that are going to make or break the iPad. Judging how much they’ve contributed to the success of the iPhone and iPod touch it’s obvious that Apple is hoping that lightening strikes twice with the iPad.
The iPad might be a compelling tool for DJs. It’s smaller and much more portable than turntables or a notebook computer and has the benefits of a large touchscreen surface. A new app called Mixr, mentioned on MacRumors, absolutely has me salivating. It features a two virtual turntables that allow full record control as well as cross-fading, equalizing, cue, and effects like delay and auto filter. Other features include:
Change the speed of the record by touch
Cue tracks, match beats with perfect precision and control
Live EQ & FXs
Custom Intuitive Library. Realistic 3D Crate
Record your Mixes
Createdigitalmusic posted a piece about SunVox, a free modular music creation application that runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux, (plus mobile platforms Palm, Windows Mobile, and iPhone) that appears to be coming to the iPad.

Pc Dj software "Djs"
Transform your PC into a full scale DJ system
PC-based software solution for the growing number of DJs who prefer MP3 files to vinyl, CD or DVD. Pioneer’s DJS software (SVJ-DL01) was designed for professional and amateur DJs to enable full-scale DJ play on a PC. The software offers the same playability and functionality as the company’s Pro DJ products, using a PC instead of two CDJ turntables and a DJ mixer.
This new software is as easy to use as our CDJ turntables, and it offers many of the same features including cue/loop points, scratching, beat synchronization, and more, said Karl Detken, director of product planning for Pro DJ equipment at Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. Pioneer has consistently created new DJ products to meet changes in the music world. When consumers switched from vinyl and cassette to CD, we offered the CDJ-1000 CD turntable. When DVD took off in the marketplace, we created the DVJ-X1 to enable spinning of video content. Now, we’re tracking market trends in the use of .mp3 files and offering yet another revolutionary new product for PC users.

Growing up watching Video Hits & Rage,
I was obsessed with music and always wanted to be a Dj/Producer. Many years went by learning the art of spinning tunes and making people dance at parties and functions. Also partying at all the good Sydney Night Spots & Clubs.
Recently got into music production and started experimenting with different sounds.
DjRez will have you shakin your booty with catchy riffs and bouncy beats.
